    The Desert Botanical Garden seeks volunteers for its Flashlight Tours, which are every Thursday and Saturday evening, 7-9 p.m., in June, July and August.     Adults 50 and older are invited to bring a grandchild to enjoy a safari-themed lunch and scavenger hunt. The activities are appropriate for children ages 5-12.
