ABOUT COMEDY FOR CANCER Comedy For Cancer began at the beginning of 2007. Comedian Jeffrey Maxwell approached a health care facility who was treating cancer patients. Through this hospital, a family is picked based on how urgently they need help with their meds and bills because of the devastating effects of Cancer. For this show, they have picked a family that has served others before and after. The husband is an EMT and his wife has pancreatic cancer. They also have an autistic child so their medication bills and doctor visits have skyrocketed. Because of their circumstances, they have been chosen as the recipients for the proceeds of this show. At this time, the family is scheduled to be attending the show. ABOUT JEFFREY MAXWELL
Jeffrey Maxwell has performed everywhere from California to Florida. Some of his performances were at Coconuts Comedy Club, SideSplitters, Rascals, and the Improv. Jeff is a You Tube favorite and he also runs Comedy for Cancer. ABOUT DEAN AUSTIN
