The Tempe Elk’s Lodge will be holding a "celebration for children" at the Lodge on May 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. There is no charge to attend the event.

There will be activities, including games, face painting, trike relays, a storyteller from the Tempe Library and more. Also included are educational booths from the Tempe Police Department, Tempe Fire Department and information on Drug Awareness.

There will be several great prizes for all participants. All children will receive a free lunch of hot dog, chips and a beverage; adult lunch is $2.
