| Local children sought for holiday show |

Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre will hold local children’s auditions for its 2008 holiday production of “Holly Jolly Christmas,” running Nov. 20-Dec. 25. Auditions will take place on Sunday, Aug. 24 and an appointment is required. The theater is looking for 1 boy and 1 girl who will be double cast. Rehearsals for the production begin Nov. 6.
This audition is only for child actors under 5 feet tall. Children over 5 feet will not be seen at this time. Auditions for adults will be scheduled later this season, however the theater currently is accepting headshots and resumes for its casting files at this time. Those interested in auditioning should prepare 16 bars of a Broadway standard song or Christmas song and a 30 second monologue. Actors should bring music in their key and a non-returnable theatrical resume and headshot. An accompanist will be provided. No CD or tape accompaniment is permitted. For a required audition appointment, call 480-325-6700 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All positions are paid and all roles are open.
